I loved the cozy atmosphere of this family-run hotel. The warm reception made me feel welcomed right away. My room was compact but very well-maintained, featuring a charming vintage decor that added character. Breakfast options were decent, with gluten-free products available upon request, though I wished for a bit more variety in the fruits and pastries. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the central train station, making it easy to explore Salzburg. One minor inconvenience was the inconsistent Wi-Fi access, which made it difficult to plan my day at times. But the clean rooms and friendly ambiance more than made up for it.

The bathroom was comfy, but the TV had really limited channels.

A few issues stand out, the furnishings are a bit dated, harking back to the 60s, while the lack of air conditioning made it quite warm in summer. A cumbersome room key had to be left at reception, and the breakfast experience was mildly marred by the unpleasant sight of a staff member smoking in the kitchen.
